Ticket Availability
The open house is free but Parking and Shuttle Tickets are required. Individuals who arrive without a car or do not come on the metro shuttle, do not need individual Tour Tickets. Parking Tickets will continue to be released as reservations fill up. A valid email account is required to confirm your reservation and receive your Parking and Shuttle Tickets. The tours are self-guided.

Temple Open House Access
There are many ways to COME & SEE inside the temple. On-site parking is limited at the temple. It is important that you reserve your free, timed-entry parking ticket in order to access the temple open house. Without it, your vehicle cannot access the temple grounds. Unfortunately, no other parking options are available, including on nearby residential streets.
Parking tickets are available through this website. (Tour tickets are not required for entry.)
A shuttle from the Forest Glen Metro Station (Weekday evenings and Saturdays) will also be available. Required shuttle tickets are free of charge and are available through this website.
Individual entry for the temple open house by foot, public transit, taxi, bike, Lyft, Uber, etc. does NOT require a Tour Ticket.
Please plan accordingly for a positive and safe experience. The 40-minute self-guided walking tour of the interior of the temple includes visiting several floors and scaling over 150 stairs. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Wheelchair accessibility and elevators are available. Please check this website for details before your visit.

The temple open house will be held from April 28th to June 4th, excluding Sundays.
MONDAY-SATURDAY TOUR HOURS: TOURS BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M. THE LAST TOUR OF THE EVENING BEGINS AT APPROXIMATELY 9:00 P.M.
SUNDAY: NO TOURS ARE OFFERED
Parking Ticket
To park onsite, you will need a free, timed-entry Parking Ticket. Parking Tickets are available through this website. Unfortunately, no other parking options are available, including on nearby residential streets.
Name and email are required to reserve a Parking Ticket. This personal information will be used only for the temple open house and no other purpose.
Shuttle Ticket
A free shuttle from the Forest Glen Metro Station is available during designated hours (Weekday evenings and Saturdays). To reserve up to 4 complimentary shuttle tickets, please use this website.
Alternate Transportation
Without a parking ticket or shuttle ticket, we ask that you use alternative forms of transportation for your arrival and departure.
There will be a designated area for drop-off and pick-up, including taxis and ride shares, such as Lyft and Uber. There will also be bike racks.
Public transportation via bus is available nearby. See Route 4 for map and schedule.
Tour Tickets
Tour tickets for the temple open house are NOT required for temple entry.
Individual temple entry for the temple open house by foot, public transit, taxi, bike, Lyft, Uber, etc. does NOT require a tour ticket.
Group Tours and Special Requests
For bus tours, groups of 20 or more, or special requests, you may email [email protected] for assistance on and after January 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. EST.
If buses or large motor vehicles intend to park onsite, a special Parking Ticket is required. Please email [email protected] to make the request.
Additional Languages
The temple tour is self-guided and there are details regarding the purposes of rooms in both English and Spanish. Additionally, this information will be available to all guests in additional languages in the welcome tent. After the tour, there will be volunteers available just outside the temple to answer questions, and those will also be available in multiple languages.
Photography
No photography or video recording is permitted in the temple.
Guests are welcome to take pictures outside on the temple grounds. We encourage guests to share their images and experience using the hashtag #DCTemple or via social media @DCTemple.

Safety and Security
The safety and security of all guests is a priority.
All guests will be required to pass through a metal detector prior to the temple open house tour.
Bags are subject to inspection. Consider traveling light without bags, backpacks, strollers, valuables, etc.
Weapons and potentially harmful items are not permitted.
Accessibility
Limited wheelchairs are available. Parking proximity is available by displaying disability placard. A free, timed-entry Parking Ticket is also required.
