Washington DC Temple Choir

Founded in 1980 as the Mormon Choir of Washington DC, the Washington DC Temple Choir is composed of over 80 singers selected by audition from congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The choir’s mission is to worship God through music, testify of Him and His work, and support the interfaith outreach of the Church. The choir’s repertoire includes a wide variety of secular and sacred music. The choir has performed at the White House, Strathmore Music Center, Fort McHenry, Constitution Hall, Washington Monument, Kennedy Center, Washington National Cathedral, and many other religious and civic venues in the greater Washington area.
